Elly is a published illustrator, animator and teacher from North Wales, who has simply loved drawing, telling stories and making things since she was old enough to hold a pencil.
She makes drawings, animations, etchings, linocuts, objects, stories and poems. Inspiration can come from objects, words, colours, memories, dreams, creatures, characters, moods or feelings - sometimes the process of making is the starting point, and a story in the work writes itself along the way.
Clients include: Diwylliant Conwy Culture, Conwy Council, View Creative, North Wales Wildlife Trust, The National Trust, Hedyn Dance Collective, Olympia Publishers, Arts Council of Wales, Trash Free Trails, Rise Up for the Ocean, Blighty Booch Kombucha, MOSTYN, Oriel Môn, Gwynedd Council, TAPE Community Music and Film, Conveyor Collective CIC and McOpera Scotland.
Elly regularly runs a range of workshops around North Wales including printmaking, animation and illustration. She is co-director of Conveyor Collective CIC.
